PGDM with Health Care
Healthcare as an industry in India is valued at well over Rs 150,000 crores and has been witnessing good double digit growth for over 2 decades. The growth of the healthcare sector has been 14-15% over the last decade. Domains such as hospitals (with the emergence and growth of Corporate Hospital chains); pharmaceuticals and biotech; healthcare insurance; allied fields such as diagnostics (pathology as well as radiology), nutrition, alternate systems of medicine; including the not-for-profit public health systems are all large markets, each showing an annual double-digit growth. This also has had a spillover effect on healthcare consulting, and healthcare vertical jobs in the IT industry.

The consistently higher rates of growth and the rate of corporatization of healthcare has resulted in an increased need for trained professionals to manage this industry.
